James Weller 

Born and raised in Toronto,  James is a self-taught artist who paints in acrylic, oil and watercolour.

He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, School of Architecture. He jokes that the School insisted that he draw and design daily. Five years of this discipline as well as courses in colour theory and their annual two-week sketching trip constituted his "boot camp" in design and art.

His studio is just outside the village of Merrickville and overlooks the Rideau River.
