Sheila Ballantyne
Canadian artist Sheila Ballantyne began her life-long journey in art as a young girl who was most content in spending time in nature. This still holds true today, often enjoying painting and sketching on location. Over the years her artwork received numerous awards and gained international recognition in the world of wildlife art. Her paintings can be found in many private and corporate collections around the world and were featured by conservation organizations including Ducks Unlimited Canada and Artists for Conservation. She was also a perennial exhibitor in the Buckhorn Wildlife Art Festival. In 2003 Sheila was the featured artist for the WPBS TV Art Auction which aired a documentary about her career as an artist. Her most recent accomplishments are inclusion in the 13th and 15th International ARC Salon and International Artist Magazine.
